TONE Factory set-up guide.
Now that you've gotten your turntable you'll need to set it up! TONE factory was designed with ease of set-up in mind. Follow these 10 simple steps to get up and running.
Step 1: Open the packaging.
Carefully open the packaging and keep all materials. They may be needed for warranty purposes.
Step 2: Read the manual.
Take out the manual and read them thoroughly to ensure you understand the setup process.
Step 3: Unpack the power supply.
Take out the power supply and attach the correct adapter plug for your country.
Step 4: Unpack dustcover & accessories - If applicable.
• If your TONE turntable came with a dustcover, remove it, unpack the hinges, and remove any protective materials.
• If you've ordered a Complete pack, unpack your RCA cable, care pack, and 45 (singles) adapter.
• Take your TONE turntable out of the packaging and remove the turntable protection bag.
Step 5: Unpack your turntable.
Remove top cardboard insert, take your TONE turntable out of the packaging, and remove the turntable protection bag.
Step 6: Install the counterweight.
Take the counterweight out of the packaging and carefully screw it onto the tonearm until it is fully installed.
Step 7: Install the belt and sub-platter.
• Remove the platter and sub-platter.
• Remove the cardboard inlay.
• Reinstall the sub-platter.
• Fit the drive belt around the motor pulley.
• Reinsall the platter on top of subpaltter with belt placed around motor pulley.
• Place the felt mat on the platter.
Step 8: Install dustcover - if applicable.
• Remove protective film.
• Attach the hinges to turntable using included screws and allen key.
• Place damping pads on the front and rear edges.
• Mount Dustcover onto hinges
Step 9: Remove the cartridge protector & tonearm transport lock.
Attach the hinges, mount the dustcover, and place damping pads on the front edge.
Step 10: Connect to power.
Connect the power supply’s barrel connector to the turntable and plug the adapter into your chosen outlet.
